This is what Angel Locsin has told Alvin Elchico following the issues of the interview.
ANGEL LOCSIN – Alvin Elchico reveals the message he received from actress Angel Locsin following the issues that transpired from their interview.
Made with pure intention to help, the community pantry that actress and philantropist Angel Locsin put up has turned into a chaos after the people who mobbed her area became uncontrollable. Also, it caused the death of a senior citizen lining up to get something from her. The community is something she did to celebrate her birthday but it didn’t turned out the way she have imagined it to be.

In a previous article, Atty. Mel Sta. Maria, the Dean of Far Eastern University Institute of Law said that the actress said that she is “not liable”. The lawyer added, “You file a case because somebody transgressed the law and when you talk about the law, you look at the wordings of the law. It is textual.”
There were some who criticized her for doing such that resulted in the death of an elderly. Among them is Barangay Holy Spirit chairman Felicito Valmocina who expressed that what the actress did when she announced her community pantry was a mistake considering her wide social media followings. With what has unfortunately transpired, Angel faced an interview with ABS-CBN reporter Alvin Elchico only to make another issue.
The reporter got criticized online over his question for the crying Angel in front of him talking about the elderly’s death. He asked her, “meron ka pa bang susunod na ioorganisang community pantry o nadala ka na?” and apologized afterwards as it made a loud buzz online.

Reaching out to the reporter after that particular clip of their interview went viral and controversial, Elchico shared that the actress messaged him through viber and said that she wasn’t offended at all. Accordingly, Locsin believed that he only asked the right questions and did his job as a news anchor.
The actress wrote to him through Bayan Muna Chair Neri Colmenares: “Kuya, pakisabi hindi po ako na-offend. Tinanong niya po ang mga tamang tanong na gustong marining ng tao ang sagot. Ginawa niya po ang trabaho niya.”
