Footage of Stranded People Inside McDonald’s Amid PDEA vs QCPD Shootout
One of the stranded people inside the McDonald’s recorded the situation amid the shootout between the PDEA and QCPD.
In the video footage recorded by one of the stranded inside the McDonald’s along Commonwealth, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) personnel hold them as the exchanges of gunfire between QC cops and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents is still ongoing.

Among the stranded was a lady PDEA agent whom accosted by police manning them and seized her firearms. The lady agent was pulled out from the stranded group.

Based on the video, a pregnant woman was also included in the group. One of the stranded plead to the police wearing swat gear if he could give some water to the pregnant as she is suffering from nervous.

The clash between PDEA agents and QC cops stemmed after the anti-narcotic operatives conducted a sell-bust operation against to a certain suspect. However, the QC cops were also conducting a buy-bust operation in the same area.
Based on the reports, QCPD Station Six conducted the operation “with complete coordination and necessary papers.” the QCPD officers later learned that they were transacting with PDEA agents.
Allegedly during the confrontation, PDEA agents first engaged to shoot towards the PNP personnel leaving no option for the policemen to fight back against them resulting in a series of injuries to both parties.
