Police Authorities Nabbed 3 Suspects For Issuing Fake COVID-19 Results in Las Piñas City

The police authorities arrested three suspects in Las Piñas City for allegedly issuing fake RT-PCR test results.

On Wednesday (April 21, 2021), the Southern Police District said that the suspects have been arrested during an entrapment operation at a medical clinic along Alabang Zapote Road in Barangan Talon Dos.

The authorities recovered two RT-PCR test results, four rapid test results, certificate of registration, DTI business name registration, business license, mayor’s permit and other documents from the suspects.

Fake RT-PCR Test Results

Aside from the fake results and documents, the police officers also seized piece of improvised glass tooter with traces of illegal drugs and aluminum foil. The culprits have been placed under the customer of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit office.

The suspects have been identified as Frederick Jude, Janice Dasco and Gabriela Dimaano. The three would face charges for falsification of public documents for making fake COVID-19 results.

Frederick Jude would also face additional charges over illegal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fake RT-PCR Test Results

The Southern Police District complied to the order of the Department of the Interior and Local Government to the Philippine National Police to strengthen the action against the issuance of fake COVID-19 tests results.
