Police Authorities Arrest Former Teacher For Allegedly Abusing Female Student
A former teacher has been arrested by the police authorities for allegedly abusing a grade 12 student in 2017.
The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) reported that an ex-teacher identified as Ramil Gara has been arrested for allegedly abusing his female student way back in 2017.
Gara allegedly used his authority to take advantage towards the lady student and threatened to fail her if she would refuse to grant his request. Ramil is a former Grade 12 teacher at a school in Caloocan City.
Gara allegedly used his “authority and moral ascendancy over his student by threatening to fail her if she won’t concede to his sexual pleadings.”
The police authorities reportedly assaulted the 18-year-old lady student way back in 2017. The teacher is allegedly hiding for four years after the student’s family file a case in the court against him.
The PNP-AKG team conducted intelligence operations to arrest the suspect. The cops successfully arrested Gara in Quezon City. The former educator is currently placed at the PNP-AKG detention cell for documentation.
