Update on Former Pres. Erap’s Condition in ICU Posted by Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada
ERAP’S CONDITION NOW – Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada released a medical bulletin on the condition of former President Joseph Estrada in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Stricter community quarantine measures are up in several areas in the Philippines now following another surge of the COVID-19 cases in the country. For several days now, the country is recording at least 7,000 new cases of the disease daily.
The whole National Capital Region (NCR) were previously placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) together with the provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal. It was downgraded to Modified ECQ which is its current quarantine measure now.
One of the known personalities in the Philippines who contracted COVID-19 is former President Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada. He’s hospitalized over the symptoms of coronavirus.
The former President experienced breathing difficulties. He was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and was intubated to help him in his breathing. He already tested negative for COVID-19 and was out from the ICU.
However, the doctors found an infection in his lungs which prompted them to return Erap to the ICU – but for non-COVID patients. He needs strict monitoring.
A lot of people are also monitoring former Pres. Erap’s condition now. His eldest son, former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, generously gives the Filipino people update on the condition of the former President.
Recently, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada posted a medical bulletin about former Pres. Erap’s condition now in the ICU. In a Facebook post, he expressed his gratitude over the improvement on his father’s condition.
According to the former Senator, Erap is not anymore under blood pressure-support medicines and his white blood cells have also increased indicating an improvement on the treatment. Furthermore, his doctors reduced his oxygen support.
Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada expressed his family’s gratitude for all the support and encouragement and asked to continue to pray for his father.
