Man Allegedly Drank ‘Tubli’ Plant Extract to Prove Poisonous Found Dead
Authorities discovered a dead body of a man in Sipalay City after he reportedly drank the “Tubli” plant extract to show it was poisonous.
According to the report of Aksyon Radyo, a man was discovered dead in a barangay in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental. Authorities kept the identity of the victim a secret, but he was 24 years old and single.
The victim was discovered dead in his hut, according to PMaj James Latayon, head of the Sipalay PNP. The Tubli vine, which he is believed to have drunk, was found next to the deceased, according to Latayon.

The victim’s brother said it has been two days when the dead body of his brother was discovered. According to him, the victim allegedly tried to drink the extract of the ‘Tubli’ plant to prove if it was really poisonous.
Since there was no foul play on the victim’s body, the family claims he drank the plant’s extract resulting to his death, the chief said. According to the study, the said plant is a poisonous. Its juice is also used to poison fish in the river.
Meanwhile, A crazy man was arrested on Negros Island after he pretended to be dead and then exclaimed, “It’s a prank.” The residents immediately called the authorities after they found an unconscious man on the coastal area.
The rescuers arrived quickly to pick up the man and place him on a stretcher. After a few moments, the man exclaimed, “It’s A Prank,” and ran away. However, he was chased and put under arrest over his act.
