2 Vehicles Transporting Workers to Cavite Apprehended Over Protocol Violations
Authorities apprehended two (2) vehicles transporting workers in Cavite due to health protocol violations amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The vehicles were stopped after the Philippine National Police (PNP) discovered that they were carrying more passengers than authorized. They broke the guidelines established by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases on minimum public health standards and physical distancing, according to PNP Chief Police General Debold Sinas.

According to GMA News, on April 12, an aluminum van driven by George Alabado was discovered carrying 14 Carmona employees along Congressional Road. On April 14, an Isuzu Elf aluminum van driven by Mark Anthony Angaza was also parked on Congressional Road.
Authorities found 15 construction workers during the inspection, which the PNP said was a breach of the passenger limit guidelines. According to the PNP, the van was carrying construction workers from their homes to the construction site.
The drivers were given violation tickets, while all passengers were advised to return home after securing their identities and photographs, PNP said. The Isuzu Elf aluminum van was impounded after the driver failed to show any vehicle papers.
