Liza Soberano shared her advocacy
Kapamilya star Liza Soberano is named as the newest ambassador of Save the Children Philippines and she shared the things she wants to do with the organization.
Aside from doing her showbiz stints and being one of the most beautiful faces in the entertainment industry, Liza is also known for speaking and fighting for the causes she believes.
In her recent Twitter post, she announced the new addition to the charitable endeavors that she is supporting. “I’m proud and honored to be the newest ambassador of Save the Children Philippines!” the young actress said.
In her introductory video, she shared that she has been supporting Save the Children since 2016 when she discovered it online. At first, she did not know that the international organization has its counterpart in the Philippines. It was just in 2018 when she knew that she could also support that advocacy in caring for children concentrated here in the country.
Since that, she already did two projects with the organization but not as its ambassador yet. Now that she is officially the newest ambassador of Save The Children Philippines, Liza Soberano said that she is looking forward to doing the field works.
“There’s no more grounding and heartwarming than seeing the look on people’s faces if you give them the simplest assistance and maybe financial or just showing them that you’re physically and mentally there to support them,” she shared.
The actress added that witnessing certain scenarios and situations humbles her and reminds her to be thankful for what she has. This pushes her also to extend more help to those in need.
