Actress-host Toni Gonzaga shared surprising revelations about former actress Rica Peralejo in her recent Toni Talks vlog on YouTube.

Toni joined the entertainment industry during the time when Rica was one of the most popular young actresses in her generation. In a previous interview, the former actress shared that she almost had her showbiz comeback a few years ago. However, that did not happen because she prioritized her and her husband’s plan of having a baby.

In the recent vlog of Toni, Rica also shared her showbiz journey and the triggering point when she finally decided to leave the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry.

Before the conversations of the two female celebrities went to the serious aspect, Toni Gonzaga recalled the time when she was just starting her career. She said that she and her fellow newbies at that time would consider Rica as their “ate” or older sister. Toni added that Rica was one of those stars that newbies like her would dream to become.

The wife of Direk Paul Soriano vividly recalled the time when she was just 13 years old and was waiting in the queue for an audition, she would hear her fellow auditionees that they saw Rica and gushed over that experience. “Uy, grabe kahapon nakita namin si Rica sa Mars, naririnig ko ‘yong nasa likod ko . Noon wala pang Embassy, Mars is the place to go,” Toni quipped that made the former actress laugh.

Then, the I Feel U host shared the first time when she saw Rica and it was in a mall. Toni said that she even told her younger sister Alex Gonzaga, “galing siyang ASAP, Catherine (Alex).” The host said that it was a Sunday, about 3 p.m.

Toni also shared that the third time she saw Rica was in the ASAP dressing room as she already became part of the show. The actress-host shared that it was the time when the former actress has her own segment in the Kapamilya show called “Rated R”.
