Michael V shares his reaction to netizens who are reuploading his videos
Comedian Michael V reminded netizens not to reupload his videos from his official social media accounts, just like what a Facebook Page did to his recent parody song.
Bitoy shared a recent parody song titled “Essential Lang” in the tune of the song “Torpedo” that was popularized by Eraserheads. The said song was about the recent viral video showing a barangay official reprimanding a delivery driver who was delivering “lugaw” during curfew hours.

Netizens talked about the said viral incident and the online community also enjoyed the parody song about it that the Kapuso star shared on his YouTube channel.
âHello again BSS! Nagulat kayo ‘no? Wala lang. Bigla lang akong na-inspire du’n sa trending video ngayon ‘tsaka may hangover pa yata ako ng parody virus. Enjoy this âessentialâ parody!â Michael V wrote in the caption of his post.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, there were social media users who uploaded this recent parody song video of the Bubble Gang star. RobidhooD1992, a Facebook page, reuploaded it.
This received a comment from Bitoy as he reminded the Facebook page that reuploading a video is not allowed. He stressed that sharing is allowed but not direct posting of material from the original source.
âPAKIUSAP: Pakitanggal âtong video. Pâwede i-share âyung link pero hindi allowed âtong direct posting ng material ko,â he said.
Michael V also said that he already reported this matter to Facebook, so that, necessarily step must be done against it. âIni-report ko na âto at âyung ibang nag-upload sa Facebook and in a few days, baka makatanggap ka na ng COPYRIGHT STRIKE âpag hindi ito dinelete so please lang, kabayan,â the comedian said.
As of the writing, the post on the said Facebook page was already deleted.
