Michael V Recovers From COVID-19
MICHAEL V – Kapuso comedian Michael V has recovered after contracting COVID-19 last month.
Multi-awarded-comedian Michael V, also known as Bitoy, revealed in his July 20 vlog that he tested positive for coronavirus. He decided to stop his showbiz engagements but continued his vlogging.
In a previous article, the Kapuso star shared the possible reason why and where he got the virus. “Ang duda ko deliveries, pero FYI lahat ng deliveries na dumarating hindi nakakapasok sa studio na hindi sina-sanitize,” he said.
In his latest “Bitoy Story” vlog, Michael V revealed he has recovered from coronavirus. In the video that was uploaded on Monday, August 10, he shared the happy news after being in quarantine.
“Sa ngayon tapos na ‘yung quarantine ko and masasabi ko okay na, naka-recover na,” he said.
Michael V also shared that one of his kids experienced some symptoms of COVID-19 like fever and diarrhea. After three days, his child’s COVID-19 symptoms disappeared and tested negative for COVID-19.
“Unfortunately, bago natapos ‘yung quarantine ko, ‘yung isa kong anak naman ang nagka-fever at nagka-diarrhea na kung hindi alam nung iba sa inyo ay dalawang ‘yun symptoms ng COVID.
“Magkasama sila ng iisang kuwarto, pero ‘yung kapatid niya walang symptoms. Kaya, siyempre, hindi na naman naming malaman kung paano niya nakuha ‘yun.
“Awa ng Diyos after three days na nawala na ‘yung symptoms niya, sana stomach flu lang ‘yung na-experience niya, pero para safe nag-isolate siya at nagpa-test.”
Michael V paid tribute to the COVID-19 frontliners in his sketch. He said it’s his way of thanking the healthcare workers for their sacrifice, commitment and efforts in managing coronavirus. In the latter part of his vlog, he gave tips on how to recover from COVID-19 faster.
