Gerald Anderson Admits Being Shy Facing Yam Concepcion Wearing Brief
The Kapamilya hunk Gerald Anderson admitted being shy facing his leading lady Yam Concepcion wearing underwear only.
According to Gerald, their scene where he wears brief in front of Yam was very akward. Prior to brief scene, he though they will continue their scene until the last part, but wardrobe personnel suddenly came and give him a brief.
“Nakaka-ilang, na nakakatawa ang eksena na nag-brief ako. Ang set up kasi, ang eksena tuloy-tuloy kami. Lumapit sa akin ang wardrobe, binigay ang brief. Sabi ko, “ano to, bakit brief lang? Yung una, parang speddo pa ang binigay, na sobrang revealing talaga,” he said.
As he is not ready for the brief scene, he asks the personnel to find another underwear for him to wear. “Sabi ko, hanap tayo ng ibang brief, hindi pa ako ready sa ganiyan. Sobrang bakat kasi.”
“Nabigla ako. Pero noong ginagawa namin ang eksena, eh, unang pagsasama naming ni Yam yon. Kasamo yon agad. Pero, ang mga director namin very protective,” he added.

Gerald shared that their director, Mae Cruz-Alviar also wears brief to make him comfortable. “Ang ginawa ni direk, nag-brief din siya sa harap naming, para ipakita sakin na para maging kumportable ako. Yung effort niya, ganito gawin mo, nag-brief lang siya, malakin bagay yon.”
“Masarap makatrabaho ang mga director na sobrang passionate. Hindi naman kailangang gawin yon pero pinakita niya sakin,” he said.
He also found it really weird because this is his first to be with Yam and they had 30 people behind the camera. “Kaya very thankful ako na may nakasama ako na ganun ka-professional na tao,” said Gerald.
Gerald and Yam’s trailer of their new teleserye “Init sa Magdamag” earned various reactions from the netizens. Some said that there was no bump, others said that it was very attractive, that’s why women were attracted to him.
