Joseph Estrada Health Condition – President Rodrigo Duterte asked for an update on the latest status of the health of the former President who tested positive for COVID-19.

A few days ago, the family of the Erap announced that he was infected by the virus. Following this announcement, fake news surfaced that he already passed away. His son, Jinggoy Estrada, debunked this untrue statement that circulated online.

The younger Estrada said that his father was moved to the intensive care unit and was sedated. On April 6, news broke out that the former President was already on a medical ventilator because his condition worsened.

Jinggoy, along with other members of the family of Joseph Estrada asked the public to pray for his health condition to be better. Recent reports stated that even the siblings of the former President and his daughter-in-law also tested positive for COVID-19.

In a recent Twitter post of JV Ejercito, one of Erap’s son, he shared that President Duterte called to asked about the health condition of the former President.

JV said that he did not expect that call from the Chief Executive. For him, this is somehow a way to lift their spirit as they are facing a difficult time.

“Napakalaking bagay po ng pag tawag ninyo Mr. President sa akin para kamustahin ang aming ama. Ang laking gulat ko po! Nakakalakas din po ng loob sa gitna ng sitwasyon ng amin ama,” JV wrote in his tweet. He also thanked Senator Bong Go.

In the Twitter post of the former Senator, a netizen commented against President Duterte. JV Ejercito answered that thanking the Chief Executive for asking about Joseph Estrada health condition is “courtesy”.
