Raffy Tulfo Slams Duque Anew Over Remdesivir Vaccine Donated by WHO
The veteran journalist Raffy Tulfo slams health secretary Francisco Duque again over the million worth of Remdesivir vaccine donated by the World Health Organization (WHO).
On the latest episode of “Raffy Tulfo in Action,” the veteran journalist once again called the attention of Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Duque. He challenged Duque to account where the millions of Remdesivir donated by WHO went.
“Hinahamon kita Mr. Duque, paki-account lang saan napunta yung milyon-milyong Remdesivir na dinonate ng WHO, pwede ba in the name of tranparency, ipakita niyo sa taumbayan yung pangalan ng mga ospital na nabigyan noon,” said Tulfo.

Tulfo even called to President Rodrigo Duterte to dismiss the two government staff members if his questions cannot be answered. He appeals for the relief of Duque and the FDA director Eric Domingo.
“Panawagan ko po kay Pangulong Duterte, sir, paki-account lang po pakisabi po dito kay Duque, at saka dito kay Domingo paki-account lang saan napunta yung milyon-milyong halaga ng remdesivir, yung mamahaling gamot na dinonate ng WHO sa Pilipinas,” he added said.
He further said “kapag hindi po nasagot yan ng dalawa niyong alipores, sir pakisibak na po, ibig sabihin, may ginagawa pong milagro itong dalawang ito.”
Meanwhile, Tulfo previously hits DOH and FDA for blocking the permits of Lianhua Qingwen, a medicine that treats cases with fever, sore throat, cough, stuffy or runny nose, aversion to cold, muscle soreness, headache, wheezing—symptoms present in COVID-19, and ivermectin, claimed to be a drug that has a potential to treat the virus.
Tulfo lashed out at Duque and Domingo for their questionable decision to prevent these two drugs from entering the market while allowing them to use other expensive drugs for COVID-19 patients. Tulfo expressed frustration with the fact that these expensive drugs are anti-poor like Lianhua and ivermectin which are sold at only P25 and P35 per capsule.
