Coca-Cola Philippines to Give Free COVID-19 Vaccinations for its Workers & Their Families
Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. (CCBPI) announced its free COVID-19 vaccination program for its employees.
On Wednesday (March 31, 2021), CCBPI CEO and president Gareth McGeown announced that they will conduct a free COVID-19 vaccination program for its 10, 000 employees including their family members.
McGeown said that they are responsible for their workers and their families during this time of coronavirus pandemic. The company considered every employee as one Coke family.
“Our People-First commitment means that we are responsible for our employees and their families especially during these most challenging times,” McGeown said.
The firm is currently working with its partners to ensure that the vaccination program will be conducted properly. The company also believes that the program will increase the activity and mobility of their employees.
Coca-Cola Philippines allocates P2 billion assistance fund for its employees to ensure that every workers would receive their salaries amid the health crisis. The firm also wants their employees to have a secured job.
“Our biggest achievement is that we did not have to let anyone go because of the pandemic,” McGeown added.
