PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (March 29)
The state weather bureau PAGASA said that some parts of the country would experience cloudy and rainy conditions due to the easterlies.
On Monday (March 29, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The easterlies and the localized thunderstorms would affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.
The localized thunderstorms would also bring the same weather condition over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands. The trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) would also affect the weather condition over southern portion of Mindanao.
The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over entire Northern Luzon, Aurora Province, Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would be slight to moderate.
