Kapuso couple Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana shared their thoughts on the topics about temptation and jealousy in their relationship.
After more than six years of being together, Tom and Carla are set to go the next level of their relationship – marriage. The couple recently announced that they are already engaged and Tom’s proposal to Carla happened last year in the month of October. With this, fans are now anticipating for their wedding day.
In a recent interview through chat with Inquirer entertainment columnist Dolly Ann Carvajal, Tom and Carla were asked questions about their relationship.
Being in showbiz, it is inevitable that they are paired with attractive artists, they were asked if how they will handle the temptation after they get married.
Both of them answered that in this situation, their commitment to each other will play a major factor.
“We’re humans and there might be urges here and there, but it’s really all about our dedication to the commitment we’ve made. Are we going to trade temporary temptation for a lifetime of building something beautiful together?” Tom Rodriguez said.
For Carla Abellana, a reminder that infidelity is a sin will do a good job. “We always have to remember that we are committed to each other, that we said our vows in front of God. We have to remind ourselves that infidelity is a sin and we have to stick to our vows,” the actress said.
When asked about jealousy in their relationship, Tom said that this has not been an issue for them. Carla added that they are thankful that this never happened.
Regarding their wedding, the actress said that they were not aiming for the grand ceremony. She said that they want it to be “classic, elegant, romantic”. For Tom, he would describe it as “dreamy”.
Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez shared that they are not planning yet about their honeymoon. After the wedding, they want to focus on building their house and building their own family as they expressed that they want to have a baby soon.
