Next chapter for Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana
Kapuso couple Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana announced their engagement through their posts on their Instagram accounts.
Tom and Carla revealed in 2014 that they were already dating and at that year, they did the TV series My Destiny. Seven years after that, they are set to go the next level of their relationship. The couple announced their engagement on March 21.
In his Instagram post, Tom shared a photo of him and Carla highlighting the diamond ring in the latter’s finger. He shared a quote from Pablo Nerudo, a poet, diplomat, and politician:
“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this…”
In a separate post, Carla Abellana shared the same photo saying that she will say “yes” a million times.
Several celebrity friends of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana congratulated them, as well as their fans. Several comments also expressed excitement for the Kapuso couple.
Meanwhile, back in August of 2020, the actor was asked about the possibility of “pandemic wedding”. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, several celebrity couples have managed to adapt to the new normal and made their weddings less grand than what could have been without the health crisis now.
Tom said that Carla is not in favor of this but he said that whatever setup, all he wanted is to have the woman of her life beside him. Nevertheless, the actor wanted this once in a lifetime event to be special for Carla.
