PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day March 25, 2021 (Thursday).
The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Northeast Monsoon will be affecting Extreme Northern Luzon while the Easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country.
According to the bureau’s official website, the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Sorsogon, Surigao, Dinagat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will face cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to at times heavy rains.
The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and rest of the country. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the report, for the wind speed and coastal water forecast, Extreme Northern Luzon will bring moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will bring light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction, while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
