Friar Salvi had recently finished the three masses he brought to the people. He was so tired that he did not mind the Head Hermana and Hermano who waited to talk to him. He hurriedly removed his cassock and entered his room.

The devout were already used at the priest’s routine. Most of them were elderly who are organizing the upcoming festival. The priests were discussing about “indulgence”.

According to their belief, if a soul heading to purgatory has many indulgences, it will be saved. Many priests have boasted their number of indulgences.

Amid the discussion, Sisa appeared, she came to the church to ask friar Salvi regarding her youngest child Crispin, who is a sacristan there.
