Metro Manila Malls Announce Changes To Be Implemented for 2 Weeks
METRO MANILA MALLS – Several shopping establishments released announcements in compliance with the new COVID-19 measures set in Metro Manila and four (4) neighboring provinces.
The fight against the COVID-19 pandemic continues. It’s around a year now since the first case of the said coronavirus disease was detected in the Philippines.
Across the globe, over 200 countries and territories have logged cases of the said coronavirus disease. It brought a lot of changes in these nations most especially in the people’s way of living.
In the Philippines, everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice physical distancing outdoors. Community quarantine measures are still up in the country.
Currently, Metro Manila and four (4) neighboring provinces are under a General Community Quarantine (GCQ). There are also new regulations amid the fight against COVID-19.

Following the new measures amid the fight against the pandemic, some Metro Manila malls released announcements over the changes in their guidelines in compliance with the new restrictions set by the national government.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Robinsons Malls, Power Plant Malls, and Ayala Malls will temporarily not allow indoor dining from March 22 to April 4. Also, the said Metro Manila malls will not allow mall goers below 18 years of age and above 65 years old to enter the establishment unless for essential reasons.
The al fresco or the outdoor dining will be allowed but it is subject to the guidelines set by the local government. Meanwhile, restaurants in malls will continue to operate for take-out and delivery orders.
