Malacañang Announces Placing of Some Areas in PH Under GCQ

MALACAÑANG – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte approved to put some areas in the Philippines under GCQ with additional restrictions.

Currently, the COVID-19 pandemic remains to be the biggest challenge that the Philippines is facing. Unfortunately, last week, high numbers of new coronavirus cases logged daily hit the records.

It’s around a year now since the fight against the coronavirus pandemic started. It brought a lot of changes in the country. Now, everyone must wear a face mask and practice physical distancing when going outdoors. The local government units (LGUs) have set sanctions for those who will disobey the rules amid the fight.

Also, most establishments including shopping malls, grocery stores, and pharmacies require a face shield aside from a face mask upon entry. The entrance of these establishments also require temperature check and the submission of personal contact details.
