Who was the “first yaya” of Sanya Lopez?
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez revealed in a recent interview that this person was her “first yaya” when she was younger.
Sanya is playing the lead role in the new GMA series First Yaya with award-winning actor Gabby Concepcion. During a recent interview on Mars Pa More, the actress said that she never had a yaya when she was a child just like other kids.
She revealed that her yaya was her older brother Jak Roberto. “Hindi ako nagkaroon ng yaya noong maliit ako. Either ‘yung kapatid ko si Jak or ‘yung tita ko na kakambal ng mommy ko ‘yung nag-aalaga sa’kin,” the actress said.
Sanya Lopez also described how was Jak as her “yaya” or “yayo”. “Pagdating sa, for example, gusto namin maglaro sa labas o magpapaalam ako, nandun ako sa may kapitbahay namin laging sa kanya ako nagpapaalam. And iniisip niya muna kung hanggang dito ka lang, hanggang ganitong oras ka lang dapat,” she shared.
The actress said that she had to be home by 5 p.m. at that time because at the province, most people were already asleep by 7 p.m.
Previously, Sanya shared that her showbiz career started when she visited her brother Jak on the set of Walang Tulugan.
The late German Moreno saw her and after that, the star-builder introduced her to people in the entertainment industry and the rest was history.
That is why, until now, Sanya Lopez is thankful to what Kuya Germs did for her and her career in show business. Now, from just visiting a show, she now has her own TV series.
