Grandpa In New York Gets Vaccine To Go Outside And Dance Again
GRANDPA GETS VACCINE TO DANCE AGAIN – An 89-year-old grandpa got himself vaccinated against COVID-19 so he could do the thing he loves – dancing.
Surely, you’re never too old to dance to the beat of your favorite tune. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the entire world was under lockdown. Furthermore, the elderly such as Bob Holzman were advised not to go outside as they are high-risk.
Luckily, as COVID-19 vaccine become available, people such as Bob can be able to go outside again. According to an article from ABS-CBN, Bob has been dancing for over 75 years.
Among the styles he likes best are the swing, fox-trot, samba, and salsa. As per the article, he said:
“I have no doubt… that I’ll be able to do whatever I did before.. And I’ll do it with a sense of gratitude that, you know, I was able to get through it“
Vaccinations in America has been going smoothly since December. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 113 million doses of the vaccine have been given which accounts for about 22 percent of the American population.
