Kind Customer Being Patient to Rider who Delivers Food in Soaking Wet Goes Viral
A patient customer earned praised from the online community for being kind to a rider after the food delivered is soaking wet due to rain.
The act of kindness and patience of a customer named “Chan Ney” from Davao City was lauded by netizens. Based on his Facebook post, he ordered a box of pizza from a popular store, and a female delivery rider on a motorcycle brought it to him.
According to him, he waited an hour before the order was delivered to him. Aside from being delivered late, the box of pizza he ordered was soaking wet.
Instead of being annoyed because the delivery arrived late and the look of his order, he calmly asked the delivery rider what happened to her. He shared that the rider is expecting to be scolded for late delivery.
“She was really timid. I think nag-expect na talaga siya na mapagalitan and she was not defensive too. Nakayuko lang siya like she was expecting for the worst,” he said.

The female delivery rider explained that the heavy rain suddenly fell as she was driving seven kilometers from the customer’s location. Although it did not rain in the customer’s area, he noticed that some parts of his motorcycle were wet.
With that, he considered it as proof that the female rider was telling the truth. Instead of getting angry with the delivery rider, he just expanded his patience.
“I shared my experience because I knew that if it came out another way — if I was complaining and complaining lang — I would have regretted it deeply if inuna ko ang complain over compassion,” Chan said.
