First on YouTube is a house tour of Derek Ramsay of his modern and huge house situated in Ayala Alabang Village. He showed every corner including the parts he is yet to improve and one thing that many people have noticed is the dominance of expensive artworks that filled his home.

Some of the creations by Jinggoy Buensuceso, Dominic Jenon, and Hamilton Sulit were present in his house and not only they are beautiful and deep but also costly in terms of price. It is a three-story home with a luxuriously-finished interior. Upon entering, a huge origami-inspired metal sculpture also by Jinggoy Buensuceso was installed which will people appreciate when seen upstairs.

Everything in his house is well-planned, critically designed, and stylishly-functional. And the mere sofas he put in various parts of his home cost million-peso. The reason behind his taste for designer furniture is because he wanted people to have something to talk about.

In his living room is the iconic black boomerang-shaped sofas that looked “funky and interesting” to him but still comfortable. It was accordingly designed by Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid in collaboration with B&B Italia that costs USD13,119.60 each or around Php 650,000.00 each.

His “kulay diarrhea” sofa in the entertainment area is priced at USD7,880 or Php 383,000.00 designed by Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola in 2011.

Another sofa is placed in his home’s lanai and pool area which is called The Ribes designed by Milan-based architect and furniture designer Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia which he paid a million just to have.
