Bonifacio Bosita Reacts to MMDA Traffic Chief Accusing Him Interference
Retired Colonel Bonifacio Bosita reacts to Manila Metropolitan Development Authority (MMDA) traffic Chief Bong Nebrija slamming his interference to enforcers.
The retired policeman Col. Bonifacio Bosita finally react after MMDA traffic czar Col. Edison Bong Nebrija threatened him to file a case against him for interfering on the job of traffic enforcers.
In his social media post, Bosita showed a post from a concerned netizen named Dan Torio which shows the plight of ordinary Filipinos who are trying to contest or question their inaccurate violations cited by irresponsible enforcers.
According to the post of Torio, the violation costs 500 but if you believe that the enforcer who cited it was wrong, you have the right to contest it. The netizen explained that an individual can be absent from work if he tries to contest on MMDA.

According to his calculation, it will cost up to 1,900 pesos for a person who contests his last so the others are forced to pay the ticket even though they believe that they are not at fault.
Due to that, Col. Bosita said that Torio’s post is one of the reasons why he does not agree with Nebrija’s insistence on following the alleged “due process” which allows alleged violators to contest their inaccurate violations.
According to him, if motorists follow Nebrija’s suggestion, they will be further disturbed. “Makikita ninyo sa ibaba ang TUNAY NA DETALYE at dahilan kung bakit hindi ako sangayon sa sinasabi ni COLONEL NEBRIJA na due process,” Bosita wrote in his Facebook.
“Sa umiiral na sistema na nais niyang mangyari (due process) ay laging talo at kaawa-awa ang mga kapatid nating motorista kahit na walang paglabag, hindi naman pinapanagot ang Pulis o ang Enforcer na nagkasala sa panghuhuli,” he added.
Recently, the MMDA Chief lambast Bosita for allegedly interfering with enforcers’ jobs. Nebrija did not like Bosita’s alleged interference as he has no right to interfere enforcer’s decisions.
In his statement, Nebrija accused Bosita of using his assistance to riders to enter politics. Nebrija also promised that they will take legal action when Bosita interferes with the EDSA arrests again.
