Wife Arrested After Caught Delivering Drugs to Husband Jailed in Quezon City
Authorities arrested a wife after caught delivering illegal drugs to her inmate husband who has been jailed in Quezon City.
A wife is now behind bars with her husband, after she was imprisoned in Quezon City, for bringing illegal drugs called shabu or crystal meth. Quezon City Police District director, P/BGen. Danilo Macerin, arrested Justine Kate Guinto, 19, resident of 648 C. Palanca St., San Miguel, Manila.
According to the report, around 4:40 pm, in La Loma Police Station 1, Guinto was arrested when the duty jailer inspected the food packs for her husband Sohail Arumpac, who was detained at the said station for illegal drugs.

Earlier, the police received information that Guinto plans to smuggle drugs to give to her husband that sparks a reason to police on duty to thoroughly investigate her belongings. An unknown quantity or gram of shabu was recovered from the suspect.
Based on the report, Guinto is currently in custody while the case against her is being prepared. Macerin said that the arrest of Guinto should be the time that police would intensify their security against smuggled illegal drugs.
“Ang pagkakaaresto kay Guinto ay nagpapakita lamang ng pagiging alerto ng ating kapulisan sa loob man o sa labas ng ating istasyon. Ang kampanya laban sa iligal na droga ay mas lalo pa nating paiigtingin at ating ipatutupad sapagkat nais nating maging maayos, mapayapa at ligtas ang ating syudad,” Macerin said.
