GOMO Challenges DITO Amid Roll-out in Key Areas Within Visayas, Mindanao
GOMO CHALLENGES DITO – As DITO Telecommunity preps for the roll-out of their services, GOMO steps up to the plate to challenge the new-comer.
GOMO, a service brand using Globe’s infrastructure has gained popularity due to its convenient and flexible data plans. Instead of being locked to a particular service, be it text, call, or data plans, subscribers can convert data into the service they need.
As such, GOMO, on Friday, offered a “no expiry” 30GB data package for P299. This would equate to 30 GB/day on a P10 price tag.
Additionally, GOMO also offered a “regional exclusive” promo in key areas of Visayas and Mindanao next on March 15. This package includes unlimited data for 30 days for P199.
Meanwhile, Smart and Globe’s data plan lags in comparison with the former offering 3GB data at P599/month and smart offering 10 GB for P999/month. On the other hand, DITO‘s unlimited data plan also includes unlimited DITO-to-DITO texts, and calls for P199 from March 8 to 31.
But, although GOMO’s data plan doesn’t have a data cap, the connection would be limited to 5Mbps. According to an article from ABS-CBN, GOMO PH’s chief Eric Leif Tanbauco said:
“So far, we’re happy with the results of GOMO. We are able to attract the growing base of digitally savvy Filipinos and leverage on the consumer’s heightened need for digital tool”
