PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (February 27)
The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the easterlies would bring rains and thunderstorms over some parts of the country.
On Saturday (February 27, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. PAGASA said that the easterlies would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
The easterlies would bring partly cloudy and cloudy conditions with isolated rains or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy and cloudy conditions with isolated rains over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.
The same weather condition is expected over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.
The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions throughout the entire country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
