Thomasians Help School Janitor To Pay his Hospital Bills After Attacked by Dog

UST faculties and students helped their school janitor to pay his hospital bills after he was attacked by a dog.

Earlier this week, University of Santo Tomas College of Science janitor Alvin Negrido Marbida got attacked by a dog. The school employee suffered from some wounds and injuries due to the incident.

Thomasians students and school employees have donated some amount to cover the hospital expenses of the school janitor. A UST Psychology graduate Bea Trinidad Aquino even asked help from the online community.

“All throughout my college life kilala ko na po si Kuya Alvin kasi very friendly at mabait po siya, Kahit yung mga ‘di niya kilala na Thomasians na namumukaan siya, tumulong din po,” Aquino said.

Alvin has been already discharged from the hospital but still under observation while recuperating, so he could return to his job as soon as he recovers. He also expressed his gratefulness towards the kind-hearted Thomasians.
