The Huawei Mate X2 was released on February 25, 2021. The device is powered by the Kirin 9000 5G Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G78 MP24.

The smartphone runs on Android + EMUI 11. It is packed with 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 2 options: 256GB and 512GB.

Mate X2 was launched without support for Google’s services and apps. It supports hybrid dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

Mate X2 comes with an 8” foldable OLED and 2200 x 2480 pixels resolution. The material used for building the device includes a glass front, glass back, and an aluminum frame.

The rear camera of Huawei Mate X2 consists of a quad-camera: 50-megapixel (wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) + 8-megapixel (periscope telephoto) 10x optical zoom + 16-megapixel (ultrawide). On the front, there’s a 16-megapiixel (wide) sensor.

Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, gyro, barometer, color spectrum, and fingerprint (side-mounted). It also features Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, QZSS, NacIC, NFC, Infrared port, USB OTG, and USB Type-c 3.1.

Mate X2 is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery + fast charging 55W + Huawei SuperCharge. It comes in colors such as Rose Gold, Light Blue, White, and Black.
