Vico Sotto Turns Down Self Promotion After Distributing Learning Materials to Over 5,000 Daycare Students
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto turned down self-promotion on learning materials donated to daycare students “Baka drawingan lang ng mga bata ng bigote”.
Pasig City distributed learning materials to more than 5,000 daycare students in the city amid the coronavirus pandemic. The local government unit wants to provide free school supplies for the poor students.
Recently, Sotto turned down self-promotion again after the online community lauded him for his good works and not attaching his face on any goods distributed by the government to the public.
A Twitter user named Axce8 commented “Gusto ko talaga ung walang [mukha] ng politiko hindi nakakailang gamitin Hahaha” to show his admiration towards the young politician.
The 31-year-old politician replied “Maglagay ako ng mukha ko dyan baka drawingan lang ng mga bata ng bigote.
