The young Sotto understands that most people are afraid to receive vaccines against the contagious disease. He said that it is normal for people to feel fear but encouraged the Pasigueños and all Filipinos to trust the medical experts.
Kung walang bakuna napakarami pa ring may tigdas,” Sotto said.
The 31-year-old politician also told the Filipino people could assure the vaccine’s quality because it has the approval of Food and Drug Administration. FDA studied and researched well before approving the vaccines.
Almost half of the Philippine population do not want to receive the vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, according to Pulse Asia survey. Most of them believe that the respiratory ailment needs no cure.
