Motorcycle Rider Killed In Vehicular Accident In Tondo, Manila

TONDO – A motorcycle rider was recently killed in a vehicular accident between his vehicle and a trailer truck in Tondo district, Manila.

The victim was identified as Rodulfo Penoliar Jr., aged 53, a Lockheed security guard, and a resident of Sta. Ana, Bulacan, according to a report from Manila Bulletin.

Initial probe shows that at around 2:20 PM, Penoliar was seen moving at high speed along Mel Lopez boulevard, near Pachero St. in the district before he bumped the rear chassis part of the trailer truck.

The trailer truck was driven by Mateo Camacho, aged 47 and a resident in the district.

Penoliar sustained multiple traumatic injuries, leading to his death. He was taken to a funeral home for autopsy and forensic examination.

Police said that there are no closed-circuit television (CCTV) installed in the area where the incident happened.

Based on the report, the trailer truck driver, along with the witnesses were taken by members of the Manila Traffic And Parking Bureau to the Don Bosco Police Community Precinct for questioning.
