Man Stabbed a Passerby to Death after an Eye-to-Eye Contact in Bacolod City
BACOLOD CITY – A man stabbed a passerby that later died after having eye-to-eye contact and staring at each other while walking.
In a report of Bombo Radyo, three men walking killed the man they met on the footwalk in Purok Riverside, Zone 2, Barangay Bata, Bacolod City after staring at each other. The victim was identified as Jeffry Solon, of legal age, and a resident of the said area.
The victim was about to return to their home but he met three suspects on the footwalk. After questioning, one of the suspects immediately identified himself as Resty Cabalida, a 28-year-old resident of the area, who started the commotion.

Along with Cabalida are Reymund Bedoria, 29, and Johnrey Daño, 30, residents of Hacienda Da-o, Barangay Burgos, Cadiz City. Bedoria stabbed Solon with a knife and sustained injuries to the victim’s abdomen and neck.
The three ran towards the North Terminal part of the Ceres Bus. The victim’s father called for help from members of the beat patrol of Bacolod City Police Station 3 near the area.
Arriving at the vacant property near the North Terminal, the police arrested three suspects. Meanwhile, the knife used by the suspect was not recovered after they threw it after the incident.
