2 Young Men Killed in Tondo Was Tortured by Their Alleged Gang Enemy in Tondo

Police revealed the motive of killing the two (2) young men after being tortured before he was killed by their alleged gang enemies in Tondo.

In the report of Jonathan Andal reported in Unang Balita on Tuesday, the two 15-year-old victims were identified as Chormel Buenaflor and Carl Justine Banogon. Their body was found floating on Isla Puting Bato at the Parola Compound in Tondo last week.

The victims’ feet, hands, and heads were wrapped in tape. They were also stabbed in the head and body and had a cut on the neck. One, a smiley face was even drawn on the body with an ice pick.

Relatives said they could hardly recognize the two victims when they saw them in the morgue due to the injuries sustained. According to Chormel’s father, his son was “played like a blackboard,” based on the report.

The night of January 31 when the two were last seen alive. They said they just said goodbye to play basketball. The family is blank on the reason why the two teenagers, who have known each other for a long time, were brutally killed. Justice is their call.

Meanwhile, according to Police Captain Henry Navarro, chief of the Manila Police District – Homicide Division, a gang fight may be the reason for the brutal killing of two teenagers. He also revealed that a gang tattoo was found on one of the victims.

“Meron silang mga grupo tulad nitong si Chormel Buenaflor, isa pala siyang miyembro ng Batang City Jail. So tinitignan natin kung meron siyang record ng misdemeanor sa mga adjacent police stations,” police said.
