She also cited New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern who is known for her excellent handling of the pandemic in her country. As a woman, she believed that her emotions will definitely have a part in her leadership skills.

“I have so much heart, I have so much calling in being a leader actually and I do disagree with this thought. I can lead my country because I have the power to do so,” she added. The beauty even furthered that men and women must be given the same opportunities. One’s capabilities and strengths can make a difference and she believed this can also be applied to women.

“We need female leaders who will put their emotions in making decisions. Because it’s not all about experience. Sometimes you need to [use] your [emotions] to be the mother of the country,” she said.
