Here’s what Herbert Bautista said about Ruffa Gutierrez
Actor Herbert Bautista made this revelation about actress Ruffa Gutierrez during a recent virtual media conference for the new Kapamilya sitcom The House Arrest Of Us.
The said new show features the popular tandem of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. Based on the article from Bandera, the event lasted until midnight because they talked about a lot of things.
One of the topics was the past between Herbert and Ruffa. The female cast members, Ruffa Gutierrez, Arlene Muhlach, Riva Quenery, and Alora Sasam, were asked what kind of wedding proposal that their partner would do.
Ruffa answered that she will really think and plan things out because she was already married in the past. “So dapat mag isip-isip muna ako kung ito ba talaga ang gusto ko para sa future ko and of course gusto ko ng bongga ‘yung proposal kahit hindi na masyadong extravagant ang proposal as long as meaningful. That’s all,” the actress said.
Then, Alora said that there was someone who was taking down notes. Robi Domingo, who was the host of the event said, “May sasabihin po yata si sir Herbert?”
The former Quezon City Mayor thanked the host and said, “so anong plano mo Ruffa?” However, Ruffa said that she has no plan for this thing and Herbert asked sweetly again, “bakit naman?”
“Ikaw, tanungin kita Mayor bakit hanggang ngayon hindi ka pa ikinakasal at nakailang proposal ka na sa ibang babae, tama ba? At isa pa sa abroad?” Ruffa answered and this made their co-stars tease them.
Herbert Bautista said that he is just waiting for the actress. Then, Robi asked the former mayor if he really plans to get married. “Alam mo, si Ruffa nu’ng 13 years old, nililigawan ko na, hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin ako sinasagot,” the actor answered in a serious tone.
Ruffa Gutierrez tried to dismissed that by saying, “okay next question” but her co-stars continued teasing them.
