In a speech, President Duterte lashes out at VP Leni Robredo again.
PRESIDENT DUTERTE – Vice President Leni Robredo blasted by President Duterte again on Monday night about her rumored plans in 2022 elections.
During his recent pandemic public address, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte gave a generous portion of his time to express his rants against Vice President Leni Robredo again. He slammed her remarks about the payment that Americans must pay if they want the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) to continue.
Along with Robredo that he slammed is Senator Panfilo Lacson who expressed his comments through a series of Tweets. However, he can “forgive” Lacson for his posts for he is not a lawyer but not Robredo because she is just like him.
In his rants, he yet again belittled the female politician repeating his statement before that she is not fit to be a president. He said, “I don’t know if it’s a pretended ignorance kay Lacson, pero itong kay Robredo, sabi ko nga ‘Ma’am, kung ikaw ang presidente, hindi mo alam ang trabaho mo, dapat alam mo….’ You should not open your mouth when we are negotiating.”
And with this, he added that if she won’t win in the 2022 elections, she must migrate to America and be a citizen there. And if she wins, she accordingly must improve her legal skills and study more. He even thinks that she needs a refresher course in law.
To recall, Duterte unilaterally canceled the two-decade-old VFA last year. This is after the US visa of his ally Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa got denied.
