Here’s what Sef Cadayona said about TVJ and Michael V
Comedian Sef Cadayona revealed these things about popular trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ), as well as about Michael V.
In a recent interview for his new show Game of the Gens with Andre Paras, Sef, a StarStruck alumnus, shared about his influences in show business. He revealed that Bossing Vic and Bitoy are two of his main influences.
He was able to work with Vic in the movie My Big Bossing’s Adventure back in 2014 while he is working with Bitoy in the Kapuso longest-running gag show Bubble Gang.
Based on the article in PEP, Sef Cadayona was asked about his “heroes” in the entertainment industry. “Sa akin number one, Bossing,” he said and then he followed it with the name of Bitoy. “Patay, magkakapantay pala sila,” Sef quipped.
The comedian-host also mentioned the names of other showbiz personalities who also do comedy and hosting such as Ogie Alcasid and Janno Gibbs.
“Sina Kuya Ogie, Kuya Janno. Ito yung mga heroes ko. Kung bakit sobrang, feeling ko, talagang nasa ulap ako ngayon. Na finally nagkaroon ako ng opportunity to host a game show,” he shared.
When asked why he looks up to the artists that he mentioned, Sef said that it is because he grew up watching them and that pushed him to enter the entertainment industry.
Then, he shared the first time he had the chance to meet the celebrities he admires. “First time I guested sa Eat Bulaga!, dala-dala ko lahat ng CD at cassette ng VST,” he said talking about the group of Tito Sotto, Vico Sotto, and Joey de Leon, along with Val Sotto.
“That was yung parang icebreaker namin with Bossing and Tito Joey, and Tito Sen,” Sef Cadayona revealed.
