Actress Jessy Mendiola shared the rudeness that she received from store staff of a luxury brand.
It is quite normal for celebrities to own an item or items from a luxury brand. At times, they even become endorsers of the of these expensive items.
However, Jessy has an unforgettable experience when she tried to buy an item from one luxury brand – Chanel. Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the actress experienced rudeness from Chanel store staff twice.
She shared that the first time happened three or four years ago. “I went in sa isang Chanel store and I asked about the classic Chanel Flap. First time kong magkakaroon ng Chanel Flap, excited ako. Na
wawalan ako ng loob every time na nagpa-price increase sila. Tapos hindi ko maabot ‘yung bag na gusto ko kasi pamahal siya nang pamahal,” she shared.
So, when the time came that she already saved enough money for the Chanel brand that she likes, she went to the store. However, when she asked a sales associate if they have available classic Flap bags, the reaction that Jessy Mendiola got was a stare from head to toe.
“Tiningnan niya ‘ko from head to toe. Tapos hindi niya ako pinansin, medyo napahiya ako. Ginawa ko na lang, umalis na lang ako. Kasi siyempre di ba, bakit ka pa pupunta doon? Bakit ka pa bibili ng bag kung gagano’n lang din naman, bibili naman ako,” she revealed.
Two years ago, Jessy said that she experienced the same rudeness. She went to a Chanel store in Taiwan because she wanted to buy wallet and sunglasses.
The actress showed photos of the items she wanted to buy to a sales associate. However, the latter did not even bother to look at her phone and just left even though there were no other customers at that time.
Those experiences promted Jessy Mendiola to just buy luxury brands from resellers or personal shoppers.
