Lea Salonga shared this advice to singers

Award-winning theater actress Lea Salonga, who is also known as a world-class singer, updated her advice to singers which she first shared in 2018.

Indeed, Lea has brought pride to the Philippines because of her talent and professionalism. Aside from raising the flag of the country in the field of theater, she also made a name as a Disney Princess.

She is the voice behind not just one but two princess characters of Disney – Jasmine and Mulan. Through the years, veteran and newbie singers have been recognizing her talent and performances that she is always making sure to be perfect.

Despite her achievement when it comes to the theater and music industry, Lea Salonga is ready to lend a helping to those who aspire to make their own name in this field. One proof of this is how she mentored the past contestants of The Voice Philippines.

Lea is also using her social media platforms to share her knowledge on this field just like the advice that she shared a few years ago.

Dated June 4, 2018, the singer-actress wrote this in her tweet: “Dear singers, please sing in your own voice’s sweet spot. It might take some time to figure that out, but here’s a hint: it’s where sonic heaven and the limits of physical comfort meet, enabling you to create art.

It was followed by a mention of the emotional connection which according to her is “a whole other kettle of fish.”

Just recently, Lea Salonga retweeted that past Twitter post with an update. “Saw this, and felt the need to add something more to it. Not everyone is meant to belt. Please don’t force your voice to do what it wasn’t created to do,” she wrote.
