Vaccine For Robredo? “Tignan Po Natin”, Says Roque

Roque Says “Tignan Po Natin” When Asked If Robredo Gets COVID Vaccine

VACCINE FOR ROBREDO – As coronavirus vaccines are expected to arrive in the Philippines soon, would high-ranking officials get shots first?

Recently, Vice President Leni Robredo emphasized that she was willing to get inoculated for the vaccine in public. However, President Rodrigo Duterte is yet to say if he changed his mind about getting vaccinated in private.

Following this, Roque, during his Palace brief, said they would need to check if VP Robredo was on the government’s priority list when it came to vaccines. “Tignan po natin sa listahan where she falls in the order of priority“, he said.

Meanwhile, when it comes to President Duterte and his family, Roque said that they are not prioritized. He explained that unless they have comorbidities or decide to help boost the public’s confidence in the vaccine.

“Ang first family po, well, ang masasabi ko lang po, unless merong with comorbidity, hindi po talaga sila mabibigyan ng prayoridad”

According to an article from Manila Bulletin, public servants rank 7th in the government’s priority list next to healthcare workers, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, frontline personnel, indigents, and teachers and social workers.

But, when it comes to Duterte, he would still top the priority list as he was already a senior citizen.
