In the National Capital Region (NCR), there are 46 branches of SSS. Thus, SSS-Diliman is appealing to its members and retirees to proceed to other branches of the social insurance institution to prevent the crowd in the Diliman branch.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, health protocols must be observed as part of the fight against the spread of the coronavirus disease. Offices are implementing social distancing thus it is a challenge to do it when there are a lot of people coming daily.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, aside from the appeal of the SSS-Diliman for its members and retirees to proceed to other branches of the social insurance institution in the NCR, there is also a number coding implemented for those who want a face-to-face transaction instead of online processes.

Reportedly, the SSS is not operating in a full workforce capacity thus it is another challenge for them to meet all the transactions. The social insurance institution is asking for the cooperation of the public.
