Why did Heart Evangelista say “no” to a multi-million endorsement offer?
Actress-style icon Heart Evangelista revealed the reason why she turned down a car endorsement offer that was worth P8 million.
Heart is one of the in-demand endorsers in the Philippine entertainment industry. She was been sharing brands of various products on her social media accounts.
However, there were rumors that said that she is not really using the products that she is endorsing and that she is just giving the products to her staff.
This is one of the speculations against her that she answered in her recent vlog titled “REACTING TO THE CRAZIEST RUMORS ABOUT ME.”
Heart Evangelista explained that it is the other way around. Usually, she uses the product first and then, the company would approach her to be the endorser.
Mentioning that has also her own expenses, at times, it is difficult for her dealing on what offer to accept when it comes to endorsements. The wife of Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero shared that there was an instance that she was offered to do a car endorsement project.
The deal was supposed to give her P8 million but she turned that down. “There was this car that was asking me to endorse them but I don’t drive. So, how can I fake that? And I had to decline it,” she said.
Mentioning that amount of the endorsement project, Heart said, “that was like ‘aray’.” However, as she said that she always stays true to herself and what she endorses because she does not want to live the lie.
Heart Evangelista also shared that it happened several times in the past already that she had to turn down an endorsement.
