How was the make-up transformation of Paolo Ballesteros as Miss Hurt?
Actor-host Paolo Ballesteros, who is known also for his makeup transformation prowess, admitted that he had a hard time copying the face of Kapuso star Heart Evangelista.
Paolo did an endorsement project just recently and it featured his transformation to Miss Hurt. In an interview by PEP, the Eat Bulaga host shared that it took him 2 hours to finish the makeup transformation. He added it took him a longer time when he was practicing.
“Usually mga Hollywood celebrity kaya nahirapan talaga ako, lalo na si Heart na napakaliit ng mukha at malayo talaga sa built ko,” he admitted.
When the project was presented to him, Paolo Ballesteros immediately suggested the faces that he has copied that are easy for him to do such as Mariah Carey, Angelina Jolie, and Regine Velasquez.
However, the company explained to him why they wanted him to copy Heart Evangelista and so he came up with Miss Hurt.
Paolo said that he is not affected by the negative comments saying that he did not achieve the Heart Evangelist makeup transformation.
“Naku, 2021 na! After ng mga pinagdaanan natin last year at pinagdadaanan pa rin natin ngayon, hindi masamang tumawa at tawanan ang mga bagay-bagay, lalo na yung mga bagay na hindi naman makakaapekto sa mga buhay natin!” the actor-host said.
Paolo Ballesteros also shared that the creative team asked permission to Heart regarding this project and he sent a direct message to the actress of his makeup transformation.
“Sinabi ko na yun na talaga ang best ko. Baka naman kasi sabihin na niloko ko yung hitsura niya. She was very gracious because she replied naman. Sabi niya, ang galing daw ‘tapos congrats and flattered daw siya,” he said.
