Motorist Air Dismay to PMVIC and LTO After Failing to Inspection Test 5 Times
A disappointed motorist air dismay to Land Transportation Office (LTO) and to Private Motorcycle Vehicle Inspection Center (PMVIC) for milking the motorists.
The LTO along with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) implemented the new process to renew the registration of your private vehicle. In the PMVIC, there are a total of 8 tests that will be conducted each with its own minimum requirements for passing.
Motorcycle or any private vehicles should undergo visual inspection; sideslip test; suspension test; roller brake test; speedometer test; headlight test; emission test; and sound test. If your vehicle failed one of this test you have to retake after you fix it.
Recently, a motorist air dismay by the new process after she spends much time and money after she failed one of the PMVIC tests. In the Facebook page named Travel and Tours, a disappointed motorist expresses resentment to LTO and PMVIC for allegedly milking the motorists.

According to her, she was set to renew her motorcycle registration but she needs to undergo a motorcycle inspection as a requirement. At her first test, all test was passed except the headlight test.
So she goes to the mechanic to identify the problem. However, the mechanic said that her headlight is functioning and in good condition. After that, she returns to the center for another test.
Unfortunately, she still failed on the headlight test. After her second attempt failed. She changes her headlight to default lights and fixes necessary things that would let her failed again.
But when she returns for the third test, her motorcycle still failed the same test. So she asked the operator what could be the problem. The operator told her to go for a checkup and repair.
The lady motorist goes fourth and fifth test but her motorcycle still failed on the headlight test despite the default lights and all have been fixed. She slammed the PMVIC for the inconsiderate process of their test, adding that they all know that the problem is on the machine and not in the motorcycle.
She airs resentment towards the LTO and PMVIC as she claimed that they just made another way of milking not only her but her other fellow motorist. Her post earned elicited reactions after it went viral.
