Pro-Duterte Group Auditor in Kalinga Transporting Illegal Plant Drugs Arrested
The auditor of President Rodrigo Duterte supporters or Pro-Duterte group was arrested after caught transporting the illegal plant drugs “Maryjane”.
In a report of Manila Bulletin, an auditor of the Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte-National Executive Coordinating Committee (MRRD-NECC) was arrested at the quarantine checkpoint in Bantay, Tabuk City, Kalinga Friday for transporting Maryjane.
The suspect was identified as Ronnel Macaburas Tacata, 38, of Tondo, Manila, and Sto. Tomas, Ilocos Norte, said Tabuk police chief Police Col. Radino Belly. According to Belly, Tacata has no valid travel authority presented.

He only presents his MRRD-NEEC identification card to the authorities manning boundary checkpoint going to Baguio City via Bontoc, Mountain Province from Buscalan, Tinglayan, Kalinga where he brought the illegal drugs.
Based on the report, a confidential informant told Police Lt. Ruben Balanoy that a red Hyundai vehicle with plate number NDD-8178 from Tinglayan was passing Tabuk on its way to Manila with a cargo of illegal plant drugs.
As a result, Belly, together with the Kalinga police EOD/K9 unit, RIU-14, PIU, PDEA Kalinga, 3rd COY RMFB, 1st, and 2nd KPMFC, Lubuagan, Kalinga police, and Philippine Army conducted a joint checkpoint at Bantay QCP.
There, Tacata’s vehicle was flagged down and a K9 dog sat beside the vehicle, an indication that it is loaded with illegal drugs. Authorities seized 3,900 grams of dried Maryjane in tubular form worth P468,000.
