Government Implements Sudden Lockdown in Hong Kong To Curb Coronavirus Spread

SUDDEN LOCKDOWN IN HONG KONG – This lockdown scheme in Hong Kong for coronavirus testing has left people trapped in shops and buildings.

The fight against COVID-19 is not yet over in most nations and territories across the globe. Over 200 countries and territories have recorded cases of the said disease.

The World Health Organization (WHO) expressed that the COVID-19 pandemic may be a long-term battle. It also advised countries not to put their guards down early to prevent another wave of the disease.

Unfortunately, amid the fight against COVID-19, another variant of coronavirus was recorded first in the United Kingdom. Now, several other countries have confirmed cases of the UK variant of COVID-19.

Sudden lockdown in Hong Kong are taking place from time to time now to give way for the testing as mandated by the government. However, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, it has left people trapped in shops and buildings.

Meanwhile, those who have experienced getting trapped by a sudden lockdown in Hong Kong for testing understand the mandate of the government. It also encourages people not to leave their homes at night.

The screening may take overnight. Based on the report, as to the government, it is in line with the pursuit to screen the people before a transmission chain may take place.

At least 10 operations of sudden lockdown in Hong Kong have taken place. Out of the said operations, seven (7) operations failed to identify new infection.
